Christine L. Collins, EA

A recent Principal in the Firm, Christine has over 25 years experience in public accounting and taxation. Developing a trusting relationship with our clients is what allows her to best determine their needs and assist them in reaching their goals. She specializes in financial accounting and management, payroll, sales tax reporting, fiduciary accounting and forensic accounting, a field in which she has served as an expert witness. She has extensive experience in the areas of individual, partnership, corporate, multi-state and estate tax return preparation.

Once the hectic “tax season” reaches a reasonable pace, Christine turns her attention to consulting. She enjoys going to clients' businesses and working hands-on with them to solve their problems and has provided clients with guidance and support in the following areas:

• Software conversion and implementation, including Quickbooks, Business Works, and MAS 90
• QuickBooks training for owners and staff
• Cash flow forecasting and budgeting
• Business Plan preparation
• Job costing and contract accounting for construction companies
• Helping owners to understand and utilize their financial statements

Education and Training

Christine attended the University of California Santa Barbara. She has recently passed all four parts of the Enrolled Agents Exam, demonstrating her proficiency in all areas of income tax law. Her licensing was completed in early 2004.
